October

I cannot believe we are already 11 days into October!  October is a busy month.  We will spend the month learning about Fire Safety, Explorers, Pumpkins, Bats & Spiders!!
Friday is the end of the grading period so we will be finishing up our end of semester tests.

Monday we will be going on a VOYAGE like Christopher Columbus.  Be sure to wear sneakers.  (The voyage will all be at school, but we will be making many "stops".)

This week we added a bit more homework.  Please let me know how it is going.  I know evenings are busy with family time, activities, sports, etc. so I do not want homework to become a nightly chore/battle.
Parents & Students- Leave your comments and suggestions below and I will take them into consideration when working on November homework.

I only have a couple of pictures from this week.  There was lots of practicing for the air show throughout the week.  Our windows kept shaking so we occasionally had to go out and take a look!

SAVE THE DATE:
BINGO For Books is October 23 at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.  Students and parents are encouraged to dress up like their favorite book character.

Have a great weekend!
